Countdown to the Murrieta Initiatives

On the 2nd of November the residents will be asked to vote yes or no on 3 Initiative Measures.

  • Measure C / City Council term limits (aka Initiative A)
  • Measure D / Restriction of Council compensation (aka Initiative B)
  • Measure E / Restriction of administration compensation (aka Initiative C)

Considering the current state of politics and the People’s voices of concern (to put it mildly), the voter’s first impression might be to vote yes across the board for each of the Measures. However, as any well thought out vote should be, before that yes or no box is checked, an examination of what the Measures are intending to accomplish and how they will affect the Murrieta community is necessary.

Future posts with an in-depth look into each of the initiatives will be coming soon.

  1. Vote yes on term limits (measure C). Vote yes on compensation limits (measure D) for council members. They do not deserve or need this tax payer gift of funds.. They do not serve anything more than their big egos. look at Rick Gibbs mailer flyers. He takes credit for everything. How bout our closed businesses? Lose Gibbs and problem solved!
